The Gwinnett Community Clinic (GCC)
was founded in 1989 as a large-scale volunteer effort
spearheaded by Lawrence Lesser, M.D., Pam Kramer, R.N.
and the late madeline Estafen to provide access to
basic health care for people in Gwinnett County who
qualify as medically indigent. The Clinic serves over
3,000 individuals per year and is staffed by volunteer
health care professionals.
The Gwinnett Community Clinic is a
joint venture of medical professionals, Emory Eastside
Medical Center and concerned members of the general
community. Many physicians, nurses and pharmacists
volunteer their time and skills to staff the clinic year
round.
Inspired by God, developed by
servants, continued by volunteers, the Clinic gives care
to those in the Gwinnett Community who would otherwise
go untreated!
